Qualifications & Experiences
  • MC Licence with 2 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of load restraints
  • An understanding of fatigue management
  • Work to directions, follow instructions and meet work timelines
  • Provide current Driver History Report
  • BFM, AFM & Driver Medical record
  • Safety-conscious and responsible
  • Must have valid references
  • Good communication skills
Task & Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
  • Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
  • Doing regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
  • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight

Qualifications & Experiences
  • Have experience with semi-trailer air brake systems
  • Be able to conduct trailer and accessory inspections, completing repairs and service
  • Be able to repair most makes of axles and suspensions
  • Welding ability for small items
  • Be a competent welder for chassis and body repairs
  • Have knowledge of electrical and hydraulics
  • Maintain all equipment ready for use
  • Have the ability to maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Possess a Motor Vehicle Repairer’s certificate (desirable)
  • Have fitting and assembly experience and take pride in their workmanship
  • Relevant trade qualification (Automotive Mechanical or Mechanical fitting)
